you install the nand-x and this addon (when available) and it is all programed with the nand-x usb programmer. Id say you would use a program like "nand pro" to write.

the nand-x is just the middle man between the nand and pc without a program and addon etc etc to tell the nand-x what to even do then how do you suppose it will program it lol :facepalm: don't feed mis information that's how most people get confused

i'd be guessing the cool running add on will already be programmed with the glitch hack because most people dont have access to a jtag programmer.

nand-x will be used for reading / writing the console nand.


just a guess though ;)

I have no idea but props goes to Tx for the fast production of this chip the other one is hard to find.

Awell the releasers of the Reset glitch cant thank these guys enough

we didn't say that at all - the CoolRunner is an addon for the nand-x we didnt say it programmed it.

this new hack is 2 stages NAND and GLITCH (like before it was NAND and JTAG)

We have a number of products being built - just be patient - I know thats hard for some of you but you just have to chill a little and wait for the "NEW" Homebrew scene to blossom and grow.

All you need to know is that its custom designed to be as simple as soldering 6 or 7 wires to the xbox and that's it - you will have everything you need out of the box - enough with all the speculation guys - cus some of you start making posts that soon become "facts" when in fact its total sh*te.

It can be programmed via LPT and by USB - but nothing is stopping you from getting a raw dev board like the diglient one - naturally you'll have to do all the extra modding yourself.

Actually, I am getting a sample breakout PCB based with the CPLD but with the cap and other components needed on there. It's all flat on the bottom, 35x38mm. Has all 40 connections as pads to keep all options open. Also pads for jtag and an extra vcc/gnd/powerled for testing/programming. Should be with me early next week, if you're interested I can post a vid/pics once installed and running ?

If it works as intended, massproducing will start once the testers give the go ahead.

I am getting a usb-jtag programmer to program them. A small investment which will pay itself back in no time.
