Hello ive got a trinity slim, installed a coolrunner. No matter what ive done cannot get the coolrunner to turn green. First tried useing jtag tool to read and program the nand and coolrunner. No boot intoo xell after that, tried ecc glitch generator and nandpro to write nand, can always flash back the origional nand and it will boot fine. Have also tried resoldering a few of the wires to cool runner. Tried some alt soldering points as well like cpu bypass, and Can solder decent have been modding for a long time since the original playstation, never had this much trouble in my life.

Have tried moveing the blue wire all over the place, and tried shortening it a few centimeters. Have also used multibuilder, to create ecc.

Why do you have two wires soldered to 'B' ?

um, yeah - why is it set to phat?
he is trying to use the alternate point incase thats it.

No offence but if he's been modding for years, a multi-meter should be in his kitbag and a simple continuity check between the points should be sufficient. Soldering two wires instead of one might introduce its own problems, like signal interference.

Sorry, Sheesh.. I was just trying to be helpful...
You misunderstood me. That's YOUR assumption as to why he's done it. It's reasonable enough, however I'd like to know from the OP in case there's another reason.

I see what you mean...

That other wire is just an alternate i tried and the switch was just on phat just to try. I have also used an ohm meter and read across the solder points. Did not find any weak solder points either. :(

have programed the coolrunner with the nandpro "nandpro xsvf: trinity.xsfv" wich went like it was supposed to. andwith my ohm meter have tried testing for resistance over solder points, traces on trinity slim board to coolrunner. including the cpu-rst, cpu-bypass etc.. ive been soldering for a long time, am actually pretty decent and always use tinning flux when soldering. this really is getting old for me this #### rgh thing really is a pain. The old xbox with xecuter2 pro was a piece of cake compared to this, even the playstation 2 with umpteen wires to solder worked easier than this.
