RGH Cooler works fast!

I did a slim RGH and pulled out the chip matrix (trash) and bought the CoolRunner, the odd thing is that when I turn on the console the cooler is full speed.

I think he means the CPU fan. I don't know why the CPU fan would go 100% due to a CoolRunner install.

Could be SMC related, bad soldering on the CR connections to the Slim's I2C bus could result in corrupt SMC config data being read, which, on Phats, triggered a 'failsafe' mode of running both cooling fans at 100% full blast. I've never RGH'd a Slim, my cousin volunteered to do his if I sent him a CR, so if he's got any similar issues I can debug further. Still seems odd.

OP: Check your soldering, post more details as prior posters asked, does the system glitch at all, what activity are you getting on the CR's debug led?

Thanks for the replies! Well, I removed the the Matrix Glitch, and bought the CoolRunner is coming from another city.
I turn on my 360,the cooler reaches its maximum, no chip, but is already nand flashed with image.ecc.

My Slim fan starts normal but as the coolrunner glitches the fan speeds up little by little. Once the xbox boots the fan goes back to normal.

I always thought this was just because the xbox was trying to boot up. I also edit the ini file in multibuild and set the fan average temp to 60.
