RGH Coolruner rev c to CR4 XL!!!

Hello I RGH my xbox360 trinity with a coolrunner rev c a few years ago, I have boot times of about 30 second to a minute.
I would like to install a new CR4 XL to improve my boot times!
What I would like to know is could I use J Runner (CR4 box ticked) with a copy of my nand to make a updflash.bin, put that on a USB and boot into xell to flash the xbox360 with a image for the CR4 XL
Then remove the coolrunner and install the CR4 XL
Job done?
If this is wrong or if anybody has a better way of doing this protect please let me know
Ps as I said its a good few years since I last messed with all this stuff so go easy on me.

Yes that's correct. No need to wire up the the nand wires. Make a new xebuild image with cr4 ticked and flash updflash file thru xell. The rev c will still work with the new xebuild image. So once flashed, try the Xbox and see if it boots. It shud do. U may get slightly better boot times with the cr4 smc using the rev c
