Why not use proper tools in nandpro it's ONE command Enter the following command into the command prompt window, and hit Enter. (Make sure to have Falcon.xsvf file in nanpro file and that the CMD is point in the nandpro folder) Easiest way is to click in the folder (not on a file) and hold shift and right click and hit "Open command window here" then just paste:

NandPro xsvf: Falcon.xsvf

Once the CoolRunner is programmed, it will say "Successfully executed file", in the command prompt window, and the Green LED will turn off.

Thanks for that mate but ended in the same result :( Any other suggestions?

Call me an idiot but in the third picture it looks like the coolrunner is set to nor and not prg . If i am wrong then poke my eyes out with a blunt knitting needle
You are correct, the switch is set to NOR. I thought this is where its suppose to be when it's not installed into the console. However I have tried switching it to PRG to find the same outcome.

So what do you think the problem is? I personally think it could be a faulty wire? I have also tried programming the chip on a different pc with no difference.

Ok had a problem like yours found when pushing nand x wire into coolrunner the green wire was loose on adapter these can pull quite easy check all wires are secure I know it sounds silly but this can happen I repaired mine and now it lives in nand x all the time i put some tape around the wires to give better support

if you just got your nand x is should say v3 on the box if not the nand x needs updating but Mr modchips should sell you a v3 nand x . I live in London can program the board for you if you want .
I already owed a Nand-X so with this order I bought the Nand-X to USB cable to update it to V3 which I have done successfully. Thanks for that offer but im currently only 16 and have no possible way of me getting upto you.

If you use nandpro thats the one I use make sure you have timing files installed and in nandpro double check port 95 installed . One of my pc's give me grief trying to program this board so I use my laptop instead . I found maybe its just me that having loads of usb appliances installed can be a pain . If you dont have access to another computer try removing some of your usb stuff and use the usb on the back of the pc . As I said this worked for me but not for everyone

Think you could maybe come on Team Viewer and help me out if you have some free time as I don't have a clue what 'Timing files' are to be honest.

Im afraid time is not on my side as I have to goto work but to make life eaiser open nandpro folder and look to see if you have any files with .xsvf ending if not you will have to download these once downloaded open rar and transfer to nandpro folder. open nandpro and look for a text file named usage open this up and scroll to bottom change to falcon should read NandPro xsvf: falcon.xsvf copy this and now start nandpro shift right click (open command prompt here) now paste what you copied NandPro xsvf: falcon.xsvf this should program your coolrunner . It looks like you dont have timing files.
