Coolrunner 2 Nand-X Cable Issue

OP - have you tried dumping your NAND since upgrading to v3?
No, Im waiting for my new soldering iron to get delivered as my 'good one' unfortunately blew up earlier. I just thought I could get the Coolrunner programming out of the way now.

danielh2k11, do you have a spare multi-meter laying around that you could check that your yellow wire from the back of the plug (since we can see metal sticking out) touching the metal between the back of the yellow and the contacts on the coolrunner itself.
If you could, check it just to make sure the wire has proper connection from the cable to the coolrunner.

I will have a look if I have one, thanks for that. I have just send a link to this thread to MrModchips and a brief description of the situation so hopefully all goes well.

have you flipped the end that goes into the coolrunner?
the smooth side goes on top. if its flipped over it wont work.
