RGH Coolrunner doesn't come flashed?

Hello, I bought a few coolrunners, installed them on a jasper, didn't work, then installed a second on a falcon, also didn't work. Both just don't do anything, no video, nothing.
I figured I should have looked into this before hand, but coolrunners do NOT come pre-flashed, do they? I do not use a NAND-X, I use a DIY usb spi pic18f to read/write to NAND. I also take it there is no "easy" way to flash a coolrunner without a NAND-X?
If I need to buy a NAND-X, thats fine, I just wish its very specific needs were made better known. It's also very possible I just missed/ignored some info I shouldn't have.

TX 'support' only there xilink jtag cable.

However there are enough of DIY diagrams availeble.
You do need a LPT port however.

Thank you two for the QUICK reply, that is exactly what I needed to know, appreciate it. Unfortunately, I'm in a limited workspace, DIY options are more difficult, and I do not have a LPT port. I'll make it easier on myself and buy a NAND-X. I've been using TX products since early last gen, have no issues continuing my support :)
