so i have a seemingly common problem. my rgh'd xbox turns out, the cr flashes green every 4-5 seconds and it never boots xell. i have reprogrammed xell 4-5 times with no luck, i have checked my nand with xnand and it seems to be good and i have checked my soldering and it looks good (pics attached). if i flash back the stock nand and switch it over to prg (which from what i understand switches the 3.3v supply from the xbox to the jtag cable effectively turning it off)) it boots up fine with the stock dash just like normal.
I also read about jaspers sometimes needing a cap so i stuck one of those on (the right one of course 68nf that came with the coolrunner) and still no luck. i left it on for 10 minutes without it booting before i got bored and shut it off.

So does anyone have any ideas? One quick thing i should mention is i used the alternate stby_clk point as it just seems a sh*t load easier to solder and it should work the same (right?). that decision wasnt made after a botched attempt of the main point so i havent wrecked that.

So yea any and all help is welcome. thanks :)

you should be able to get some good zoom on these

I would say first tidy your wires around the coolrunner board. Run then below and away from the GND wire and the 3.3v line.

Next, don't run the green wire through the middle of the board and through the xclamps but instead parallel to it and below the xclamps.

You are most certainly getting an interference somewhere.

i moved the wires around. the 3.3v and the ground i put on the opposite direction on the cr (so they go no where near the other wires). and i moved the greenwire out from the xclamps and moved it below them and i also fed it through one of the other holes in the top and i still have nothing. what else do you think?

Also why is the BLUE wire at its alt point? I would recommend putting it where it goes. Its an easy solder point.

the blue wire isnt. ijust used the blue wire from the coolrunner slim wiring kit because it was long enough and the orange one wasnt. the blue alt wire is the orange one

Ahhh i see. Also I saw you used the alt point for the one point. Did you ever try the original point?

i didnt. im a pretty good solderer but i didnt want to risk it when people have had success with a point hat is much easier to solder to
Well it does not hurt to try lol.
I had the same problem, I also thought my soldering was perfect, but I resoldered it again a little differently and it go time glitching.

look at your yellow wire its almost touching the next pad over and next time try and push the wire into the pad straight up and down let it cool then fold the top over its your soldering on the board its self nothing else keep at it you'll get it best of luck

There was one instance i read (on this forum i believe), where the person had a slim, but it didnt glitch and when he flipped the switch to phat it glitched. Maybe yours is the reverse?

I'd say try the original solder point. if u claim to be good, then you'll have no problem at all. I thought i would be hard, and turned out to be easy. I had more trouble finding the them, then soldering to them lol

lol. i did try the slim thing but it just does nothing. as for the points yeah i can barely see them. which is why i dont want to touch them... but i guess ill give it a go

what i did on my falcon was just pu the end of the wire on it, and put my soldering iron to it till i felt it "go down" and that it. Just made sure it wasnt touching anything else.
Tested it, it glitched, and i put hot glue on it, so it wouldnt move.

you should use a magnifying glass to help while soldering more easier to do with
