ill have to pick one up. on a related note i tried another cr board that i had. and i get the same issues so it definently isnt the coolrunner itself.. not that i thought it was but i had to try

so i just created an ecc glitch file with 360 multi builder instead of jtag tool... and it ufcking worked. my head hurts but it works (and im a poet and didtt know it) thank you all for your ideas you guys are an amazing crew

well i have learned my lesson. the advanced mode is great. makes it easy for when im lazy lol. but ill build my own eccs from now on.

i've had success and failure from jtag tool but still like its command less read and write ability but i make nothing with it and verify the image elsewhere. i'm really liking this xebuildgui though but its early days so cannot say about its reliability. multibuilder is the only sure fire one i've used a lot and had no issues from.
