So I know Zephyr's are hit and miss, but I know that the green light has to do with either the coolrunner being not programmed properly or bad soldering. I reflashed the proper xsvf files twice through nandpro and I checked my soldering. Pics are all below, let me know what you guys think I should re-do.

Did about 5 NAND reads, all were fine. I had one constant error 250 at block 193, but I remapped that through J-tag tool.

Thanks

ok firstly the yellow wire needs to be under the xclamp or you gonna have probs when you put it back in the case and also lay the cables on the board dont have them sticking up like that or they will break .

I`ll add more when i`ve studied the pics a bit better . The nand-x qsb looks rough to me

Having the wires up on the chip like that is just asking for trouble . They WILL get snapped off .

Do it like this :

Actually I originally had the yellow wire under the x-clamp, its only when I decided to re-solder that point that I put it over.

Also, yes the nand-x qsb does look a little rough. I'll re-solder that one now and see how it goes.

As for the wires sticking up, this is only temporary once, I have everything running smooth I usually tidy up all the wires and what not.

Also thanks a lot.

If you get everything nice and neat in the first place it will save you having to worry about the wiring and you can illiminate that from the diagnosis . Get it all installed neatly and work from there .

Well aside from my tidying up the wiring, is there any other solder points I should double check other than the nandx qsb?

I hope that's not a pic of your board sitting on carpet or other type material >Static kills pcbs

the soldering on the HANA point of the qsb looks pretty burned up, idk if that is just the way the picture is or if it really does in real life, but i would maybe try the alternate for that to rule it out.

Use alcohol and clean off the extra flux, I think that is what I'm seeing, it makes your soldering look a lot better and flux will corrode things after a while. Your points look pretty good to me, the QSB are hard to see in a pic but check your B point with a meter for continuity (resistor to "B") Did you flash your .ecc image yet, if you did you should get a green flash when it's gliching about every 5 sec and get Xell and grab your keys

Check your wiring. It's easy to get some of them switched when you get stressed.

As for the Zephyr, I had one like yours. no green light on the coolrunner, constant flashing on the ROL board. I moved CPU_RST so it hooks around the x clamp mount closest to where it attaches to the board. Got the green flash on the coolrunner right away and xell within a few minutes

Just use a meter and take your time recheck EVERYTHING, get at least a X10 magnification glass and bright light and look it over real good for bad connection or bridging. You will find it :)
