Thanks for the help guys, I managed to remove the solder pad on the R1 resistor. FML...I'll stop soldering now :(
You guys gotta be kidding right? If you can't manage to get 1 wire soldered right how in gods name did you get the CR installed?

na dont work ..one thing this is a easy solder job but how is taking live from the cr and adding it to a all ready live point going to make it light??? the old rf is switching negative in the video that was posted the rf he used is totaly diffrent to the ones i have i wounder if this is why it worked for him i cant say as i dont have not got one to test the only way i know of for this to work if you look on the net is modded .jed file but i use the nandx to prog the cr so cant test..
I see the logic about connecting live to live, but what your are doing is taking a live feed connecting it to the live side of the LED which then requires a neutral point to make the cct.

POS ------ led ---- NEG (one continuious cct starting with a positve and finishing with a neg)

and not

POS ------- NEG led ---- POS (starting with a pos then going to a neg cct would be complete. )

Hope it makes sense.

I fixed it the resistor still reads 87.9 ohms and the led lights up on any of the points near the resistor i just don't know if the left point of the resistor goes to the pin on the chip beside it or did i short it to the pin. Here is a pic

yer it does buddy but slim has common neg and the phat is common posi again i cant say about your rf as it looks alot different to mine test and see please id like to know if there was ever a change in the phat at the end just probe the posi side of the led and hold the neg probe the the cage and see if you get any reading with it turned off
