what rf do you have all of us will try and help if we can just there are some rev rf that work in diffrent way so really need to know what rf you have
I have the SLIM RF. Are there different revisions of the slim RF's too or is it just the phats that have different ones? If the slim ones are also different let me know and I will get some pics of the front and rear of my RF board a little later.
yes, there are a couple different revisions on the slim RF modules as well as the phat
Slims new different versions as well. Check the sticker on the pcb post the version.
Ok heres pics of my slim's RF board (front and rear) and How I currently have it wired so it flashes controller 1's lights on the ROL when it debugs. Hopefully someone will know a way that I can have all 4 quadrants blink at once without making the CR spaz out. When I soldered 2 wires to the 68ohm resistor the CR didnt like it and after 1-2 glitches it would freak out and start rapidly pulsing the reset but no debug light (could hear the fan like it was being pulsed with power). And yes I removed the debug LED not because I had to but just cuz I wanted to see if i could since its not really needed anymore if ur gonna use the front panel lights:biggrin::tongue:
well wired this up using my rev a CR to my slim
nothing happened CR still pulses soldering was spot on and the correct place
now i have an issue the slim doesnt boot at all seems like the CR might have been damaged or something its still pulsing and trying but my 100% instant boot slim doesnt glitch at all

Maybe worth a look over over rf mods of google rf mods to see if there is a 4 quadrant mod that the cr could be made to work with have you tried both circuits red and green to see if one will light any Easyer?Anyone got any ideas yet?

Can you post a pic of you rf and cr as it would be nice to see what model rf you have as 1409 seems to work common ground but 1410 don't seem to work ...have you removed the wire from the rf ?or is it still in place

From the look of the RF board it's a 1410 for some reason they do not work properly. Try desoldering and booting.
i took all the wires off and the box wont glitch it was always 100% boot within 10 seconds now its nothing

Unless it shorted out somewhere it should have no negative effect on the CR. the 1410 rev rf board uses nefative pulses which is why it won't blink but it in no way should cause any issues.
Yes please do. Soon as I get my case cut done and have the extra time I going to try and find a new rf board for the slim and do a little experiment and try running a extra led in series.
