After several hours and days of checking my soldering and no luck getting xell to boot, I finally discovered what the problem is.

I soldered a wrong point on the J2B1 QSB, specifically the point on the far right (R1?)

As i followed the PHAT QSB guide, it was a bit unclear to me which point i was soldering to. The way my QSB aligned to the motherboard made it so the obvious point was actually the wrong point.

I finally solved this issue after looking at the PHAT WIRES install. See attached pic below.

mine was initially soldered to the point on the left....oops :(

I just booted into xell for the first time. Thanks to everyone on the forums, IRC, TX, and the guys who first discovered the RGH.

In my personal opinion I would rather use the original NAND-X J2B1 QSB and just solder the B wire to the point, as it would have been easier than risking damaging the pad with soldering the QSB as I know it took me a couple tries to get it right

i used both actuallyh qsb and without on jaspers

i see that with the qsb its 95 percent first boot and 5 percent second or third

in both it shouldnt take more than 15 seconds

without the qsb its more like 70 percent within 5 sec margin and 30 that it will be the second

i actually prefer the qsb , its soldering is actually annoying than using the cables, but hey saves time when you want to reflash the nand, or dump it for any reason

on one xbox asctually i soldered the qhole qsb, and then left that point without solder and connected the alt point :facepalm: hahahah
