RGH Coolrunner rev b

Hi,
i have to rgh my xbox. I have a coolrunner rev b and i would to know if:

• the file to program the coolrunner is the same i used for coolrunner rev a?
• the cap is already present on this version of coolrunner?

• Can I use an external power supply to power coolrunner? (to program it before i place it in console).

1. Yes, it's the same files to program both.
2. Yes, the 'cap' point mentioned on the board is to be bridged to enable the cap.

What are you going to use to program it?

if you get a nand x and coolrunner cable that will make your life a whole lot easier. just think spend a little more money and make the job twice as easy to complete

I will use a lpt homemade programmer.
The switch has to be on NOR position or PRG position?

When using the 3.3v input on the programmer side, you set it to PRG.

You should be connecting external power from the programmer side of the coolrunner (where the pins are). When you do this, the switch should be set to PRG.

Ok. Just another question: Once i dump mi nand, wich tool can i use to create the ecc file and ggbuild. Months ago i used jtag tools but it support only till 13604.
