Hello guys, I'm having a huge problem with my coolrunner, I installed a qsb v3 ( that one without the crystal). Then I soldered my Rev C coolrunner to the qsb and the point B had to solder to pad FT3N2 because the qsb didn't have the pad B.
When I proceeded to programm the CR using a JR Programmer, the coolrunner did not show a green light at all.

I'm on a corona v1
Used the 50 cm blue wire for CPU_RST
I wasn't under wifi

So, I was wondering if u guys know why does the CR does not show the green light?

This is everything I'm using:Corona v1
JR programmer
QSB corona add on (no crystal)
Coolrunner Rev C
Nand size 250 GB
dash version 2.0.16537.0
CB version N/A

I have not started j-runner yet as of the green light on the coolrunner don't appear.
Q- why doesn't the green light This is everything I'm using:Corona v1
JR programmer
QSB corona add on (no crystal)
Coolrunner Rev C

I doubt its because soldering issues because it should be able to show the green light while no cables are soldered to it. Btw it hasn't been programmed yet.

I don't know why it's not working for you. Is it a TX CR or a clone? Does your JRP work? Do you have the drivers installed?

Maybe you should take pics so we can see what you have.

Well I guess is a TX CR cuz is got the little TX in a circle and everything, I bough it from ModSupplier.com as well as my JRP. The JRP turns on its red light when conected to the cpu and the CR turns on the red light when I plug in the xbox. Btw how do I place pics here?
Sorry for dumb questios I'm such a noob

Well I think I messed up on that, I have already installed the qsb, is there a way I can install a crystal to it?
Or do I have to desolder it?

You can try the diy corona upgrade using a crystal and some wires but replacing the QSB is what Ill recommend since I don't know your skills.

Sorry for not answering back soon, I was at work.
Tell me more about that diy corona and how to install the crystal without replacing the qsb please. I can say I'm a good solderer.

Ohhh thanks a lot, anyway, I just succesfully disoldered the QSB v3. But two of my pads are black gray instead of shiny gray, any clue of why that happens?
Thanks a lot guys, mostly for ur patience.

As in the J-Runner tut.One wire to 3v3, one wire to GND and one wire to B.

Wow, thanks bro, if I would know how easy that was I probably wouldn't take the Qsb off. Anyway, its done already, I guess I will order the one with the 48.000 MHz crystal & I'm good to go.
:)
Btw guys why does the pads go black gray instead of shiny gray?

Because you're not using flux and your tip may be dirty (no pun intended)?

Are the pads less effective if they are black gray?
just put some flux on the pads and run your *clean* tinned iron over them, It should bring them back to nice bright solder joints. (only very little time this does not need more then a second or two. Just a light swipe.)
