So, I just glitched my Falcon (well my second, I f*ed the STNDBY_CLK on the first) and the screen went black, then off then black then off etc for ages until it red ringed and turned off. Everytime I turn it on now it gets red ring and psu overloads. With OR without the coolrunner attached. Any help? :(

BTW I also tried the alt point B after the red ring. Ima use this point in future as its easier.

Now to fix the original point B on my old board and get this past the psu overloading.

I'll tell you the problem without even seeing your soldering: you've shorted something during this attempt and now blown one or more components, more than likely a MOSFET or two.

It amazes me how stubborn some people are when they f**k up one console to hop back on the bike and immediately f**k up another. Bin it or sell for scrap. If you can't solder simple wires then forget about trying to repair MOSFETs and the like.
