RGH Coolrunner staying Red and not turning green

I installed the QSB's fine and was able to read my nand without any errors or bad blocks. I then put XeLL on it and installed my coolrunner, but it wont turn green at all.

Have you programmed the coolrunner with the right timing file for your console ?

Yes I put the falcon xsvf on it.

have you routed the wires as the tut describes as the yellow wire does not seem to be. The falcons are the easiest to glitch.

I just tried it but its not working. The light continues to stay red. I think i screwed up the soldering but im not sure where. As I cant read my nand from my nand-x after I flashed XeLL to it.

Does your console turn on at all?

thanks for moving it, but it turns on in the sense the power button stays green. The coolrunner stays red and nothing shows on screen though

I think the issue is with the green wire (CPU_PLL_BYPASS). Can't see a clear enough issue but the reset cycle is driven by this signal.

that would make sense it seems to be the only one that i was iffy on the soldering.

use plenty of flux and if needed, solder to the same facing side as R7R17, as this via pad is joined to it anyway.

i just desoldered all the bottom wires and put the original nand on it and it boots. im going to try soldering up the bottom again. can i make sure the coolrunner works before i flash xell to it though? will it still flash green if its working?

Yes, it will still flash if it's getting a signal from the CPU.

Glad it still boots, so that's a plus.

this just in! i went full retard and soldered that to the tp7r3 point originally, no wonder it didnt boot...and im suprised it still works in all honesty.

Its blinking green and is sitting there. its only been about a minute now but still nothing booting

Can you hear the fans "glitching" every 5-6 secs?

let me hook up a fan and move these wires a bit and ill tell you

so not glitching. I would check STBY_CLK. Get a meter and check for continuity between the left side of R4B24 and the right hand side of the 0Ohm resistor on the QSB.

oh god I have no idea what that means. Ill be getting a meter some time tonight but then what do I do?
