GENERAL Coolrunners with dead green light

hello everyone;

i've purchased 2 coolrunners, and when i was programming them i only had the red light on (no green)... i couldn't boot into xell with them, no matter what i did no green light (even though programming seemed to work) but no xell.
anyways i bought another one and this one has both red and green lights on when i connect it to nand-x with nand to coolrunner cable. are the first two coolrunners defective ? has anyone seen this problem before ???... is it a bad batch or is it just me ?

authentic.
coolrunner
nand-x v3
nand to coolrunner cable
Jtag Tool
ECC Glitch Generator 1.1 and also tried coolshimps coolrunner programmer.


any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

i would suggest its you, myself and several others here have fitted loads of them and not had a single failure,

the fact that you can programme the board would suggest that its fine.

show us some pictures of your wiring?

i'll post some pics when i get home to the console, but i don't know if you understood what i meant. i'm saying two coolrunners have OnLY the red light on when connected to program. second order one coolrunner and it has BOTH red and greed light on when set to PRG and connected for timing file programming.

ok, when connected for the first time to be programmed, the red light should be on, and smaller green led. the green led should go out once programmed.

I've gone through over 25 coolrunners now. Not a single issue. I would suggest it's you.
