I've googled and haven't found any info so I wanted to ask around. I have a Xenon box here. I've got 3 different PC's. They all read the nand in about 30 - 35 mins if I manually run nandpro using "nandpro lpt: -r16 nand.bin". I've read the nand on all 3 computers with and without jtag tool and they compare without differences on the PC they were read on. If you compare them to reads from the other 2 PC's they always have differences. Is this normal?
Also, if I use Coolshrimp's JTAG tool each PC takes about 80 - 90 minutes. I don't have a problem reading the nand manually but I wanted to use this tool to patch/write xell to the onboard nand so I could go about updating it off a USB drive and bypass doing it with nandpro. I'm scared to proceed by using Coolshrimp's tool tho because of the different reads.
I'm obviously using the LPT method and each tower is a clean install of XP 32bit with port95nt installed. They all have .net framework 2.0 installed. Can anyone tell me if it's safe to proceed to write xell with JTAG tool?
