So long as you have the new firmware.
You are ripping them direct from your original
You are burning them too 100% and not truncating

You should be fine. But nothing is 100%. as always.....

The ban waves come and go. And they never tell you how or why they ban people. They just keep you guessing

Yep, truncation is chopping the end of the game off.

There's no such thing as being safe online with backups. Personally I use my originals for online only (and even then on my untouched console).

Hi,

Just want to be sure in addition to the things said above.

My friend bought an Xbox 360 console (slim). He would like to play certain games online and others offline. If he flashes his drive and plays the offline games with the network cable unattached he will be fine. Although, that's what seems logic to me. But can he use original games to play online on a flashed drive without any chance of getting banned?

Thanks in advance,
Mako

EDIT: I'm sorry. I think I already found the answer right here...
