RGH Copy gamer profile from non-RGH Xbox to RGH xbox

Is it possible to do as the title says? If I were to put my non-RGH 250gb hdd in and ftp onto the xbox and pull off the file...would this work? I don't think I'll corrupt the stock HDD but I want to be sure. Thank you :smile:

not sure mate but it would be alot easier copying your your profile onto a flash drive so you could easily swap between consoles

You could but it would probably cause issues with your achievements (I could be wrong). I just keep my profile on the flash drive and plug it into what ever console I'm playing, the Xbox just reads the profile directly from the flash drive making easy to quickly swap between consoles

Is it safe to do this? I thought you couldn't use a profile on xbl that had been used with a Jtag or RGH?

The best possible thing to do in these scenarios is to keep everything between a stock and RGH/Jtag separate. Mostly, if you move something from a stock Xbox360 to RGH/Jtag one, there shouldn't be any problem. But you should avoid this the other way around. OK?

its fine aslong as you dont use home brew when on your RGH

That was my next question. I have achievements for SNES and I know this can't be a good thing to take on live...but if for some reason those achievements don't show up (homebrew) then I wouldn't worry I just want to make sure first.
