Hello, I've sold my old xbox and want to copy the games on there to my new xbox. Is there a way to copy the games from the old one straight to the new one?

Thanks....

new joisey, oooosuh
yes.

providing both xboxes are modded (i can assume that from yuor topic), install avalaunch on both of them and then hook them up with a crossover cable then go to the network settings and choose xbox 2 xbox networking or something like that. it'll then set it up automatically. then open up an ftp program on one of your xboxes and transfer all the crap over. i'm not sure but i think you can also do it with avalaunch's file manager, but i don't know how to.

BenQ and rrod HALP!!

I had a BenQ 1.6 in my console. My console recently got 3rrod, attempted X-clamp fix but now console freezes after 5mins gameplay and is unbearable. 8O

My question is, what console should I buy as a replacement? Like if I go for an arcade and happen to get a jasper motherboard would this be better than purchasing an elite?

Also Would I have to flash the drive in the new console or can I just shove in my old BenQ one?

Thanks in advance.

Re: BenQ and rrod HALP!!

the internals are the same in new units the only difference is the size harddrive that comes with it.

cheaper to by an arcade you can use your old hard drive..... just check
the lot number on the box before you purchase it if the lot number
has 933 or higher in it you won't be able to mod the drive if your into
doing that

Re: BenQ and rrod HALP!!

Thanks for you reply mightywiz,

I think I will go ahead with buying an arcade (& check the lot number).
I am still a little unclear on whether I can use my existing BenQ drive in the new machine?

It is already modded to iXtreme 1.6, can I replace the new drive that would come in the new console with my BenQ modded one?

Thanks again.

p.s. If the lot number is higher, are the drive completly unmoddable?

why don't you re-ball the motherboard???? i fixed consoles that had the same issue. after i re-balled, it was functioning like it was brand new . I recommend using a powerful thermal paste. Of course you would not have this problem if you installed your games in your hard drive. It helps greatly trust me
