Corona 4 problem

Hello,

I have a new console (4GB) with Corona 4 motherboard Hynix nand and Winbond 2JB memory, dashboard working fine but cannot build user. Formating seems to work but nothing will change and when i am trying to update i get the error xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-8007-045D.
Please HELP!

It sounds like the internal flash memory is corrupt. If that's the case then there's nothing you can do other then send it in for repair either to Microsoft if it's in warranty or send it to someone with the proper skills to downgrade you to a 16M NAND. Sad but true. :(

Hello Krafter,

Memory not corrupt, i can read the nand with the 4GB Nand R/W SD Kit and all seems OK but it's like the memory is write protected all read write action seems OK but nothing changes

I admit that I could be wrong here but I still think your NAND is corrupt. When the 4G NAND does get corrupted then you can read just fine but writing and formatting is imposable. The only thing that you are describing that is unclear to me is that you say it acts as if it's writing and formatting but nothing changes. Someone that has actually repaired one of these will be able to clear things up.
