Corona 4GB RW Kit V4 Issue

I seriously have no clue why this happened. I RGHed my Corona, I purchased and used a "TX Corona 4GB NAND RW IT V4". My disk drive worked fine before I installed it(using SMD & Leaded Solderpaste), now the drive only detects that it's a game. Says "Play Game", then blackscreen, then back to dash. I don't know if it's something I did? I left the RW Kit in it. I flashed it back to the original nand and same thing. The drive might just be f**ked but I cba to get another one. Any reason why? Not urgent at all.

sounds like faulty laser.

need more info on your drive is it flashed or stock?

Can you recall changing the drive key in the KV?

The symptom you described when you insert a game makes me think the drive key on the drive doesn't match the drive key in the KV.
