Corona 4gb SD Card read nand - Not detecting nand via card reader

plug in console but don't power on. when soldered with switch set to xbox it will turn on. unplug switch to r/w and then plug it in and it sshouldn'tm turn on but only bing, then try reading on computer. if its still not detected try another computer, my windows 7 vpceb32fm/wi vaio laptop doesn't detect mine for some reason but my desktop does

I have the same problem i try 3 diferent PC notebooks 5 diferent cardreader.
I have buy Kingstone reader (10E) but no luck, after i buy cheper reader (carat for 6E) and works perfect....

did you ever got the Memory card Carat to work for the Nand Read.. ???

Just to share my experience, I have corona v2 4gb and I believe I got good nand dumps. I used the TX 4gb r/w kit and it did take a number of tries to get the soldering correct. If j-runner doesnt see a drive connected, its likely the solder but It could also be the connectors youre using. Try plugging in cables before/after the computer is turned on too.

quick question, bought the kit to read the nand, and i have a sd card slot in the front of my laptop, do i need to still buy the reader or will that work to read the nand?

yeah thats all i can really do even if it doesnt sd card readers are cheap and i can get one a half a mile down the road .

From what has been said the cheaper the better with card readers for this purpose
