This is to clear up all the fuss about coronas that's happening lately. I'm seeing the same posts all over.

Corona V2 aka 4GB is the same as the 16MB Corona apart from reading/writing the nand method.

That means the points for the CR are exactly the same.

Now if you have a 16MB you'll need a nand-x or something similar to read/write the nand which is substituted by an SD card reader/writer on the 4GB model.

Of course you'll need a way to program the CR too. So nand-x isn't entirely useless at all.

xell and freeboot WORK with both models, with the slight exception that xell wont output image. You'll need to retrieve your key via connecting your xbox to your network or by monitoring the COM port (more details about how to use these in the J-Runner User Guide).

And those with a CR3 Lite

LK1 - the crystal - must be enabled - open
LK2 - 10 Ohm on CPU_RST - disabled - short
LK3 - C15 - disabled - open
LK4 - try all 3 variations
as well you HAVE to try different dip settings in order for it to work

Thanks for info. Just one question,to be cleared 100%.
When you write ENABLED - OPEN .DISABLED - SHORT ,so if it is shorted it means it is disabled?

nope,
LK1 when its open is disabled
LK2 when its open is enabled, so to disable it you have to short it
LK3 when its open is disabled too

The biggest difference between trinity and corona and nobooting problem is CPU_RST wire. With trinity and cr2 it should be long (blue wire) ,with corona mobos it should be short. I tried every dip settings, but the wire length was crucial. 10-15cm on corona, and the box boot every time. Too long wire,no boot. Tried on several coronas without double shielded cable.
