ok i been reading loads the last few days to get ixtreme onto my sons new xbox360e with v5 corona board and 16-d5s, i need to either wait for the new ltu2.1 board to be release or grab the earlier version and other equipment to read and write the nand and the the rgh and it does all add up

its would be easier for me to lift the tsop and read that and replace it with what i have i just wanted to know if its possible to get the drive key info from there at all?

Short answer... no.

You need to glitch the console and decrypt the nand with the cpukey to get the dvd key and relevant files to create the fw for the ltu pcb

There isn't a known ETA for LTU v2.1 yet.

What do you mean by "USB side"?

You could always glitch the console using a Slim Proto V2, but you wouldn't be able to use the console on XBL.

If you dump the original nand, then glitch to get the keys, you should be able to flash back to stock and use your keys to flash the dvd drive after a workable ltu becomes available... on the other hand, why not just pick up a jasper phat for cheap and use it for your online play?

Just go all of the way, and install a demon, a slim proto, and an ltu2.1 board. then you will have stock(Xbox Live)/rgh(Home Brew)/Disc backups(Both) at your disposal, vs installing 1 thing to install another. While this is more expensive, I am sure your son will love it. For everything it should cost about $200 + shipping. I havnt seen the price on the slim proto v2 yet, but i would assume around $50 or $60, the demon is like $50, and the ltu2.1 board should be another $50 or $60. They arent on Xconsoles at the moment, so they probably dont have any in stock.
