DGX Corona V1 Glitches Fine, But No Xell.

Hello guys, i came across something i didnt hit before, and was wondering if anyone knows what is going on.

i came across this board, read the nand all clean, wrote dgx, installed everything, 3 glitches bam, it stops, i run and connect the lan cable, and there is nothing, not even there on the router.

flashed the alt ecc, tried a dozen of times the same,
returned the original nand, xbox works fine and is detected on my router.

i can seem to retrive the cpu key through lan, or tv as it doesnt show up. so i went to the final option and i installed the nand x update cable, and installed its driver and opened com port, shows up nothing.

i even went and installed a post out kit, i know its useless but i wanted to try as it helped with an unglitchable corona i had before. same symptoms

i attached the images below, i didnt attach a jrunner log, as all it has is nands are the same, and scanning and no xbox found.

Did you try both normal DGX and the v2? Both options are available in J-Runner.

Try to use Monitor Com and the alternative like he said , it's will help you .

I Used both alt and the original, with the original it sometimes glitches, most of the time crashes, with altertive it never takes more than a min, i used com it shows nothing.

i even got my hand on another corona, to check if my dgx or comms cable is busted, baam got the key in a min.

this is def, something with the xbox.

Was your soldering as bad on the other one? It's pretty crappy TBH.

Well i will resolder in the morning if the soldering is what you think is the issue and report back, some points werent accepting the solder even though i heated the iron thats why it took more solder to the point.

and i guess its the same.
i used the dgx in the last 3 days on 8 consoles, they all booted under a min, the soldering may look crappy but im going through with every thing you say.

gonna resolder and report back, what else could it be beside soldering.

one more thing i forgot to mention, all the consoles that booted xell, the front rol blinks once indicating it booted xell

this console doesnt.

keep your CPU_RST and POST_OUT1 as short as possible.

one last thing i got 30awg kynar wire, can i use it for all the points or not

I've used these fine, just keep thicker wires for 5vSB and GND.

didnt get sleep, resoldered everything nicely, using kynar.
with the alt ecc, either it blinks once or twice and stops, no crashing appears, nothing on lan or comm.

or glitches like 6-8 times and crashes.

one last weird thing with this xbox, its on 16202 dash, with avatars and everything appearing, once i return to stock nand, says there is an update for xbox live,

and 16202 is the latest, guess this mobo is crazy

How are you returning to stock NAND?

Are you writing the whole thing back instead of just the first 50 blocks?

yes, thats what i did last night.
wrote the whole nand back

Based on how sloppy your soldering is, have you confirmed that what you're writing to the NAND is reading back the same?

Write the ECC to your NAND, then read the whole thing back to another nand file - keep your original NAND safe.

Now use nandpro to +w16 the ecc file to a copy of your original NAND dump. Compare the file you dumped to the file you just created with nandpro. They should match.

they are the same.

there is a dead block but they are the same.

i read it twice after the bad block to check it aint my soldering.

i give up on this console martin, i know my soldering isnt perfect, but it isnt the issue here, this is the latest pic of my soldering, i did a dozen over this weekend, and the dgx seemed perfect, even had a stubborn one in my drawer for a month, glitched it as well.

not sure what the heck is going on with this console, but i simply give up, have had it for 4 days trying every possible thing.

console didnt ask for the update either, guess it was crazy, or when i rewrote the nand once again it got magically fixed.

as you are an installer. here's some tip.
- DGX stop blinking doesn't mean it glitchs (some time it crash)
- Check the center LED of ROL if console glitched it will blink once (for Corona). or it will stop blinking if you disconnected DVD drive (for Trinity)
- before writting DGX ecc to nand, connect LAN cable and check IP address of your console (System Setting >> Network Setting >> Config Network) so you know the IP address of xbox. When console glitched just check that IP via http or JRunner (some time IP add by 1 or 2 from the IP you've checked)
- Some console show Xell on Screen via HDMI
- Monitor Comms is just an option. i personal check the ROL and use the IP address.

thx alot for your tips voojoo, trust me i never seen something like this before,

i know when the dgx crashes, but this one is weird.

it shows up on lan for like 5 seconds, then off for 30 seconds, then on for 5 seconds.

tried to grab the key in these 5 seconds no luck.

i finally gave up seriously, got a few trinity consoles that need dgx.

i actually called the customer told him i cant glitch his xbox, and told him to search for someone else. trust me its weird as hell, that the network appears for 5 seconds then goes off, then comes back on, comm doesnt show anything as well. first console i came across with weird symptoms.

Posting your COM monitor output would probably indicate what's happening at boot.

it shows nothing martin, just port opened at what time, and port closed at what time

nothing as if it isnt there.

thats why i tried the com monitor on another xbox and it worked well
