Turns out the CE point was bad, it had somehow been pulled of and while at the same time also had a electrical current, i resolderd the point. All is good now. Took some time and desolder the demon and get to the QSB.
However, a strange thing has started to happen, it seems the console has a life of its own. I can hear the startup blip at random times when im not even near my console.
