so about a year ago i installed a cr rev c for my son and it was working fine till today.... all he gets is just the red light no green...

If your connections are good,Look for the stock retail nand flash it back and see if it boot or red dots with the rev c disabled. If it red dots get the secondary error code etc...

ok so i was looking everywhere for the ribbin to plug into the sd card and i cant find it so i am going to have to order a new r/w kit.... skillet34 yes all my wires are fine i even played with the post fix wire and no go

Sorry maybe I am not explaining myself right... the Xbox starts up fine I got the green middle light and the beep.... the only problem I am having is that the cr Rev c is not glitching like the green light on the coolrunner is not working so my Xbox is not going into the dashboard or fsd..... I plugged in my nand x and re write the Corona files to it, went fine but still green light on cr still not flashing...
If its turning on, just not getting the green light(glitching) it eliminates alot of things, especially if you have not updated recently. Either point B,C, or D is messed up in some way. You said you've checked D(cpu_rst) already, just make sure and double check with multi-meter. Also check continuity on C(post_out) as well as just check and see what the resistance is coming off the post_fix adapter. It doesn't have a set value, but should not be 0. If all the above checks good the crystal on the QSB is suspect on point B. One last question, does the red light dim when you power on?

I will check all that stuff tomorrow or this weekend. .. no it does not dim but it will dim if I remove the ground. .. I think I can hear the crystal go off and on... is that how it's suppose to be or is the crystal suppose to be on all the time wile xbox is turned on???
