Hi guys... Hoping to get some help. Have a Corona V2 4GB running dash 16202 (This alone may very well be my problem.. not sure). Anyway, Ive fried 2 SD card readers attempting this, and I cant, for the life of me.. figure out why (I will apologize in advance for the less than stellar solder job on pins 2 3 4 and 5 on the SD card reader (Hard navigation with a soldering iron between the plastic casing and the USB port...) Anyway, here are pics:

So... Basically, I hook everything up the first time, and then plug the SD card reader into my PC... it sees SOMETHING... a physicaldrive1 or something and shows a size of 0.. try to read, J runner gives an error of wrong size. So, I figured I buggered something up. Tear down and rebuild... Same effect. Tear everything down and plug the reader into my PC with an SD card in it... The pc sees the reader but not the card. So, I buy another (Targus High Speed SD/SDHC/MMC Micro SD/T-F Card reader/writer).
Get home with the second one (TEST it first
Works fine on PC with SD card in it)... wire it up, try to read the nand.. SAME issue as before, disassemble and plug into my PC with an SD card... Dead. WTF am I doing wrong? Like i said, my soldering on 2,3,4 and 5 is not great, but everything is solid and nothing is touching. Soldering on the board is decent... havent cleaned the flux yet, but i dont really want to go scrubbing around in there til im all done...
Using a rosin flux, standard solder (I think 98%). 30 watt soldering iron. Going off of the PDF instructions (Found somewhere here in the forums.. not sure the link anymore).
Has anyone had an issue like this before and if so... What was done to solve it? Or am I just doing this all wrong?
Please refrain from commenting on the solder job on the SD card reader (pins 2 3 4 and 5...)... Any other bashing of my solder skills, I accept if they are bad
