Ok fixed up my wiring now it all good.I was reading on another forum that all I needed to get CPU key was a DGX.Or do I have to have a dump a of my original nand?to get the DGX to work?

Yes, all you need is the DGX but we recommend ensuring you have good NAND dumps before you start as writing the DGX ECC will overwrite your existing SMC, KV and bootloaders. You can then use your good NAND dump and CPU key (from XeLL) to build whatever image you want.

Thanks for that so just to get the CPU KEY over COM I just open com in jay-runner and boot XBOX no need to load any donor nand files first?

Strangely I have no idea why you are worried and wired comm without knowing the steps leading up to it?

If you read through the forums and see what other people are using and have done you will understand.

At this point you have not stated what motherboard you have

You haven't stated your intentions, you want to add Coolrunner or just require the DVD key, this will make a difference which approach you take depending on the dashboard you are one. So since you are asking about DGX yes it will give you the CPU key to get your DVD key.

You will need to read and write your nand, again this depends on which motherboad you have.

After all that you can scan ip or use monitor comm.

Why would you need a donor NAND?

How about you actually provide proper information rather than drip-feed?

Read NAND verify good dump

Write DGX file to NAND

Wire DGX

Wire Comm

Glitch

Monitor Comm

Get CPU Key

Once complete write stock NAND back
