Corona V3 - Is there an advantage to installing thermal pads on ram?

Hello,

I just purchased some Xecuter thermal pads that were on sale, and was wondering if there was any advantage to putting them on the underside ram chips on my Corona V3 RGH. Would this help to lower the ram temps? or would it hurt more than help by raising ram temps as they are not able to "breathe" as easily?

just looking for opinions, or was wondering if anyone has tried this.

best way is to try them on and see what happens to the temps

I doubt it would stop the RAM chips "breathing" as thermal pads are designed to conduct heat more easily.
