hello guys, ill go straight to the point of my thread

a customer brought me a corona v3 he rghed himself, console is successfully rghed and workign as it should, except while he was installling the postfix the ripped off the anchor points, aka the capacitor pads, by accidently pulling the postfix wire, well that doesnt matter much, the proceed installing cr rev c with 18mhc osc as he should and finished it.

now the console works with homebrew apps as normal, BUT! in random times it freezes and gives artifacts on screen

here i give 2 photos 1 on boot menu and 1 in game

so i opened the console, wrote stock nand before rgh, and removed plus cleaned everything off the board to see if its an installation error (even though im almost sure since it have artifacts its gpu error) and as expected it did it again, maybe in 5 mins maybe in 5 hours, randomly

im almost 99% sure its the 2 caps he damaged that the postfix anchors to.

here are some photos from the top and the 2 sides

as you see both pads of the C5D4 cap and the right pad of the C5D13 cap are half ripped off

and now the problem is that my multimeter doesnt have farad measure system and even if it had i doubt i would get correct readings of those damaged caps, so im here asking if someone knows their values or can measure them and tell me so i replace them and see if thats the issue of the freezing and artifact problem of the console

thanks a lot for your help/attention

UPDATE: on a full schematic of xenon xbox 360 i found that GPU capacitor C5D4 is 4.7uF 6.3V, can someone confirm this?

OP - we see this over and over again.

If you cannot service your customer without asking for help on a T-X product support forum, especially when the issue has nothing to do with Team Xecuter, you should refuse the work and either get them to post here or you to post in the 'request a service or item' section.

No-one here gets paid for helping anyone.

@Grimm...any pad damage you best you do continuity checks to evaluate damage. As for replacement of the caps...those caps are probably identical, when they go bad I replace them with NP (non polar) 5V caps and it works...never from that GPU/CPU area though...

Xenon schematics on a corona obviously is not suggested...

no i want someone to take a measure of hose 2 caps and tell me how many farads they are, ill do it myself tomorrow or the day after that, but i ask for educational purposes

since some geniuses thought that this is the best way to stabilize the postfix pcb, this cant be the first one who does this, nor the last one

The problem is, some geniuses assumed that if you're buying a product which needs to be soldered, you can actually solder. I can't see it being T-X's fault that there are people out there too cheap/proud/stupid to attempt something like this without knowing how to solder properly.

Your solution is to buy a Corona v3 scrap board from somewhere and use it for parts. Job done.

i aggree this could be one solution but the problem on this one is that there isnt any corona scap boards at least in my country, only dead xenon/zephyr ones
