I have a corona v4 4GB. Dash Version is 2.0.16547.0

I purchased the following products.

1. CR3 Lite
2. X360 USB Pro 2
3. Corona Post Fix Adapter
4. Corona 4GB NAND RW Kit
5. LTU2 PCB Liteon DG-16D5S Replacement

My main objective is to be able to play copied DVDs on the console.

I installed the post fix adapter and the NAND RW kit.

After connecting the NAND RW kit to my laptop, I am able to read the NAND using J-Runner. I get a 48MB file and it all checks out.

Next I installed Cool Runner 3 Lite

Please see image of all my connections here: http://s23.postimg.org/qkb2elgzf/XBOX360.jpg
(sorry could not attach image due to permission issues so i uploaded it to postimg.org

Ground is connected to the sliver metal casing of the AV port.

Are all my connections ok?

I have:

LK1 Open
LK2 Short
LK3 Open
LK4 All Open
SW2 all off
SW4 all off

as my CR3 Lite settings

When plug in my XBOX, the red and green lights on the CR3 turn on and remain stable on.

If i try to power on the XBOX it does not power on.

If i Plug in the NAND RW kit to my laptop with CR3 connected it does not detect the NAND drive.

If I remove all connections i.e. C,D,E,F and +3V from CR3, the laptop again starts detecting the NAND and I can power on the XBOX.

Is this expected behavior?

Also guide what my next steps should be?

I think i need to make the LTP cable and program the CR3 Lite correct?

I am following: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99437 and currently am on Step 2 / 11. Is this the right path to be following?

you don't have pictures of nand r/w qsb install

also, are you making sure you put nand SD adapter switch to "X360" when powering on the console ?

If your getting both red and green lights staying on at the same time, check your soldering. Red light should stay lit and green should pulse when powered on, but should not stay lit continuously.

You have not written an ECC so you should not be powering the console with the CR3 lite turned on. Switch to program on the Cr3L and Xbox 360 on the RW kit then try powering the console. Also remember to turn on dips 1 and 5 after you have written the ECC

Also, if your using cloned CR3lites, they can damage your SPI, so be careful, I'm only assuming that since you took the effort to hide most of the CR3 lite in your photo.

If you are having trouble reading the 4GB nand, via the SD card port on your computer you can do what I did. Obviously make sure all your soldering is good on the PCB, make sure the ribbon is secure on both ends. Then unplug the power from the xbox 360, if its not already, hook up the SD to your computer, at this point nothing will happen. Once you have everything connected and it looks good, plus the power to the xbox motherboard, within 10 seconds, your computer should detect the SD card, when it does, you can read your nand from JR. Once thats done follow the usual steps, create and write ECC, then attempt to boot to Xell to get CPU Key.

Dear All,

The images I attached are not from my XBOX. I got them off the web. Actually after I saw that my XBOX was not starting with CR3 attached, I freaked out completely and disconnected all the wires from the CR3, tested to see if it turned on and when it did, I reassembled the XBOX screws and all thinking that at least I didn't brick it. What can I say, I am a Noob ;)

After I closed it I decided to do as much research as I could before attempting again. Then I saw TX forums so I decided to post my concerns. I spent two days soldering the NAND RW QSB and CR3 Lite so I remembered exactly where I soldered the wires / connections so I gathered images from the web and posted here to confirm if I soldered correctly.

I have to doubts regarding the NAND RW QSB install as I was able to successfully read the NAND.

My only concern was regarding the wires D, E and F. I know that the 3v red wire and the GND black wire are soldered correctly as the CR3's power light (red) goes on when the XBOX is plugged in. Also no doubts regarding the yellow (post out) wire as its connecting to the post fix adapter. The only doubt is for the SCL green and SDA brown wires. I have soldered them to points shown in the image. http://s23.postimg.org/qkb2elgzf/XBOX360.jpg

Also since my soldering skills are not top class, i was extremely nervous about soldering to the point near C5R11 under the clamp. This is when i saw a post regarding the FT3T10 which looked more promising for my soldering skills.

I checked and triple checked all my soldering points with multimeter to ensure that I only soldered to the point and not included any neighboring points.

The CR3 was in normal mode and the NAND RW kit was in RW mode when I plugged in the XBOX with CR3 lite attached may be this is the reason why it did not turn on which freaked me out.

Also I only read the NAND 4 times and compared it to ensure that it was a healthy dump. I did not write ECC and went straight to installing CR3 lite another mistake i guess.

So let me get this straight.

My next step should be:

1. Re-open the XBOX, take actual images to share with you guys.
2. With CR3 lite still removed attach the NAND RW SD card to my laptop and Write ECC from J-runner. (In J-runner there is a create ECC button and a Write ECC button. Should I create ECC first and then write? or Write directly?)
3. Re-solder all CR3 cables.
4. Put NAND RW kit to X360 mode and CR3 to program mode and power on the XBOX

Correct?

Once I do this what is next. Do I need to program CR3 Lite? is it already programmed?

What's the point in using images you got from somewhere else?
We need to see your actual soldering and your actual cr3 lite or no one can help.
Who's betting on his cr3 lite being a clone?

I will re-open the xbox tomorrow take actual images and share. Only reason for posting images off the web was to confirm if the points I soldered to were correct or not. How can I tell if my CR3 is a clone?

Game backups not movies.

I am guessing the serial is printed on the CR3 lite. I will try the serial checker tomorrow when I open the box.

Ok Guys, finally re-opened the XBOX now have pictures of my setup.

I could not check the serial as its printed under the CR3 board and the sticky pad holding the CR3 on the board wont let it loose. I tried to pull it but it wouldn't give.

Also I connected the 4GB NAND RW Kit ribbon to my laptop and wrote the ECC. It was written successfully.

Then I made the LPT cable using schematic below:

http://s24.postimg.org/paon4fzut/FJ8_IDUBGXL5_OWIC_MEDIUM.jpg

Actual Cable that I made looked like this:

http://s22.postimg.org/eje1m4g69/20140505_221813.jpg

I have attached AA batteries to provide power as shown in the schematic.

As soon as I programmed the CR3 Lite unit, the green light that was solid on went off. Now it only flashes when I am writing a new timing file to the CR3.

http://s22.postimg.org/xr16ipyht/20140505_222132.jpg

After writing the timing file, I put the NAND RW Kit to X360 mode and put the CR3 to Normal mode. I then attempted to power on the XBOX.
It turns on but only the CR3's red light remains on. The green light does not even flash once. Also network scan does not detect any XBOX in J-runner and the AV cable connected the the TV does not show display on the TV.

I then tried to turn on dip switches 1 and 5 on SW2 but the XBOX shows the same behavior.

I tired files:
Corona 0-2, 1-2, 2-2 but nothing it just shows the same behavior.

What am I doing wrong here :(
