Xbox 360E 4GB (Corona V6)
Installed:
Postfix V2 Adapter
CR3 Lite
XellReloaded,FSD,DashLaunch
Have:
J-R Programmer V2

Hey all. So, I guess I'll start with the background first. It's a little lengthy, but I wanted to explain my point of view and see if I messed anything up along the way.

I purchased an already RGH'd 360Elite from OZ mods. I was installing the Xbox Neighborhood stuff on it, made the DashLaunch changes, and, like an idiot, saved the launch.ini file to the MMU....
Reboot the box and up pops Error E71. Usual fix is remove device containing launch.ini, which isn't possible. Xell still works, so I pulled down the keys and flashdmp.bin.
Cleaned the image and generated updflash.bin with JRunner, and tried to flash with a USB and xenon.elf. Xell finds it, runs xenon.elf, restarts, but no video output. 360E only has HDMI, so can't try Composite. Left it running for 4+ hours, restart it, and no changes. I tried doing the same with a clean image from scratch using these instructions, still no luck.

So, from here I start searching for solutions, and find that the only way to fix this is re-flashing the NAND. Can't do it through Xell, so have to get physical. I listened to a friend who has experience with this, and bought a JR Programmer V2 board and a NAND-X to CoolRunner cable. Turns out he was wrong.
NX-CR cable doesn't fit, obviously, so I try the CoolRunner-JTAG-XSVF(ports label on the JRP) cable. Both JRP and CR3 light up, but JRunner doesn't detect the console, and I'm stuck again.

More research with more knowledge turns up that the board I wanted was the NAND-X, which is discontinued, and points towards the Corona 4GB NAND RW Kit V4. I don't like the fact I need to solder the QSB, as my solder-foo is pretty rusty. This is why I bought the modded kit in the first place. But I don't want to send it out again, so if I need to solder, so be it.
I've searched and searched since, but haven't found any answers to this exact situation, hence this post!

So, on to the questions:
Is my conclusion the correct one? Or was my logic wrong somewhere along the way?
Is it at all possible to fix this with the tools I already have?
If not, will the NAND RW kit have everything I need to fix this?

I've attached the pics, to save room on the post.

Thanks in advance for the help!

never seen genuine TX glitch chips with "KE" marked on the dip switches .. its always "SAB" :)

Wow, nice catch! That's one damn good clone (if it 100% is indeed a clone anyways) compared to the crap I've seen. Maybe its a 1 in a million cr3 that's says KE? Great eye though :)

Also, after looking even more closely I see some components are mounted crooked which I very rarely see with genuine chips :)

that is not a clone there has been early revisions that had diff writing on the switches.

OP the CR cable you bought is for programming the CR3 lite with timing files, it does not R/W the nand on the mobo.

you need a 4gb R/W kit which involves soldering a qsb. looks like the original modder used a homebrew version with wires and removed it after.

cloned chips dont go to the bother of etching the cr3 logo on the chip top, ive seen genuine chips with the same writing on the switches.

I would try putting a default launch.ini on a flash drive, and see if you can get the console to boot.
I tried :(. I believe the internal memory has priority over the HD, and the HD over USB.

your CR3 lite is a clone .. this forum doesn't support clone products

Dang, well I had no idea! I bought the Xbox from OzModChips, an authorized TX distributor. I don't see why they would use a cloned board when they have legit ones in stock (other than saving money I guess...). How can I confirm clone or legit? I'd like to take that up with them if the former....

Yeah, I mean I'm sure I'll be able to pull it off. Just taking a risk, so wanted to see if there were any other options.

If you can gently remove the CR3 from the 360 and carefully remove the double sided sticky pad, you may see a unique serial number which will allow you to see if its genuine or not..
