Hello everyone,

It is my first time and I am completely new to the world of RGH, I've read various threads but I'm still not sure about what I have to buy.
I came up with the conclusion that I have a Corona v2 (due to having a 4GB model from 2011, but didn't opened it yet).
This is the list I came up with:
- Xecuter CR4 XL
- Xecuter Corona 4GB NAND RW Kit v4
- IPEX RST_CPU Cable (seems to be optional but gives better boot times, right?)

And that's it ? I've read about Xecuter J-R programmer v2, but I don't know what purpose it serves, is it important ?

I also have a slim QSB v3 corona included with Xecuter CR4 XL, do I need to use it ?

Thanks a lot for your clarifications.

the items required for a corona v2:

CR4 XL
4gb nand r/w kit

***you may need postfix adapter as some corona v2 don't have postout
***you can also get the qsb v3 for a cleaner install and the jr-programmer if you want to use rater

Thanks chase.
What is rater ?

Introducing Rater™

This is a new feature of J-Runner (Released with Build 287). This feature utilizes all the new features of JR PROGRAMMER V2.

TIP

The Nand read/write cable also has to be connected from JRP v2 to Nand QSB to allow the xbox to be powered off by J-Runner's Rater (not shown in picture)

RATER is used to calculate the score (rate) the glitch you have installed. It uses Kiosk to power up your 360, then log POST to monitor boot status, counts reset up to the point the kernel boots fully, then logs the cycles taken, and then powers down the console. The cycle repeats for as long as you choose and scores the install.

This is really fantastic for tweaking installs. CR3 PRO is so good it's hard to see the difference between greatness and true awesomeness RATER addresses this need.....

you don't have to use the QSB if you don't want to its personal choice , incase yopu don't already have one , you will need either a nandx or a jrunner programmer v1 or v2 will do , the ipex cable you don't need I havn't used one yet , again that's an option, you need good soldering skills aswell , its not a easy job especially the nand R/W QSB

I don't think rather will be helpful to me it seems to be good for multiple RGH install as well as the NandX (a bit expensive for only one install) but I can definitely see how they can help.

Anyway I ended up ordering the CR4 chip and the NAND RW kit, they should be coming in 2-3 days.
Thanks for your help guys.

Having rater access can make the difference between a super fast starting console and just ok starting machine
3 out of the ten slim consoles I installed CR-4 LT on I absolutely needed Rater to find the sweet spot
Plus it is Kinda fun to do the tuning ....Thanks TX for bringing Rater back to the newest hard ware
