I have a corona v2 4gb and a 250gb v5 that I've spent the last 2 days scratching my head as to why I can't get xell to load. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing because it doesn't matter which motherboard or chip combo I try I cannot get them to glitch. I can't even get them to turn on with the eject button. They do turn on with the power button but they just glitch forever. I have tried a rev c, a cr3 lite, and a cr4 all with the same result. The trinity I tried works just fine but these darn corona's won't pop. I didn't want to start a thread but I've read, and read, and read some more, but just can't find the answer. Thanks in advance.

Please fill out the RGH Template or the CR4 Temate.

I understand the wanting a template and I will provide one once my soldering iron heats up and my blood pressure cools down. In the meantime, is it normal for not being able to turn on the corona motherboard with the eject button? I'm guessing not since xell normally boots with the eject. I've gotten out my jeweler's glasses to see if I dropped a glob of solder somewhere on the board.

No it's not normal. Use something small and metallic to short pins 3 and 4 on the connector where the faceplate ribbon connects. That should be the eject. If it's not 3 and 4 then it's 4 and 5. I'm suspecting damage to the ribbon.

I can load a stock nand and the eject works just fine. The 250gb has a demon and when loading stock nand it won't boot with the eject but once the dash comes up with the power button I can eject. I'm stumped. I checked all my solder joints with a pair of jeweler's glasses at 25x magnification and they are fine. I've written the ecc file with the demon, nand-x and a jr programmer all with the same results. It's just so odd that the trouble is repeated on 2 different motherboards testing 3 different official tx coolrunners. The last option is to de-solder the qsb and try a direct wire install.

I couldn't sleep so I got up to use the bathroom. While I was up I decided to turn on the 4gb xbox that was still sitting on my workbench. Now mind you I never touched it at all since I posted last, but by some amazing FM it booted to xell first glitch. I extracted the cpu key, created an image and it's booting consistently 1-2 glitches. Gremlins I tell you. Maybe the xbox gnomes will have my 250gb working when I get up in the morning.
