Correct Bios for Xbox V 1.0

i have a X3 mod chip and a xbox 1.0. i dloaded the 3.0.1 bios and keep getting fragged. Am i using the right bios or do i need 3.0.3?

nm. i found what version is used for 1.0. thanks anyways i guess......

you have the right flashbios.

if you are fragging, then it's a bad install ,bad x3 bios flash or bad dip switch settings.

check all your soldering very close. if everything seems to be ok, then reflash with the latest x3 bios (1959).

also make sure that your dip switches are set correctly. ( banks 1-4 = on, on, off, off, off. )

Flashed Xbox 360 and update

Hi everyone,

Im new in the Xbox world ! I have a flashed Xbox 360 and id like to know, if I want to connect to the xbox live, it tells me that I have to update my xbox or I wont be able to connect ! I was wondering if updating my xbox would affect it in any manners ? I mean would i still be able to read my backups ? Thank you.

What everybody says to do is to reflash back to stock firmware then update the dashboard from Microsoft....then reflash back to LT... What I did is downloaded the dashboard update to a flash drive formated with fat32....turned off the 360, put in the flash drive....turned system back on it updated then rebooted....and voila i was up to date...now I have another system that I play on X-box live .....nobody knows if your totally safe or not. By the way after the update I was still able to read all my backups.
