I can't update, delete anything, and save anything to it. It it possible to solder a new chip? Thanks.

This xbox isn't rgh, but I did it anyway.

Description of problem:

Was the console working before you started: Y/N y

Do you get a green debug light appear on the RGH chip every 4-5 seconds: Y/N n

How long is the light on for each time

Your OP was very vague and I assumed that when you said you couldn't update or save you were talking about an RGH system. Even though you don't have any TX products you should give more detail on what you've tried and the problems you're having. Just keep in mind that this is a TX product support forum so your help might be limited.

You don't solder one. It's what they call a BGA chip and you need special equipment to replace that type. What Jsinger and others have done is to remove the 4G chip and replace it with a 16M chip which are easier to install and can be found really easy.

I tried that, but the 4gb nand won't format.

I'll probably just ask jsinger. Thanks for all of your help.
