Last week I decided to upgrade a 160 GB drive to a 250 I had laying around after I upgrade others to a 320 GB HD. The X360USB PRO HDD HACKER TOOL worked great and I did not have any issue doing the firmware’s on either 320 GB or 250 GB. An issue started when I replaced the 160 GB HD that was running on my Xenon Samsung box. First thing I noticed was even with the MW3 disc (Original) loaded to the new 250gb HD it seem to take longer to load and at random times it would get a disc is dirty error. I reinstalled it multiple times but got the same effect, slow load times and disc read errors. Out of chance I decided to put the 160 GB HD back in while I was looking at the 250gb with Buffalo Party and notice that the long load times where gone (with the 160 GB in) and after 3 days of testing I have not had any disc read errors. So after that entire story has the HD ever been known to cause a disc read error on the optical drive? Is it possible I have a bad HDDSS.bin? Thanks in advance for help.
