still trying to Glitch my slim, o the stress its given me already.

I've soldered the wires from the nand x straight to the points on the mobo with some flux too. and I am using jtag tool to read the nand. I have not updated my nand x to v3 so am using nandpro v2 but always get the "could not detect a flash controller" I hear this is a wiring prob usually so resoldered again, and again, and again and so forth.
still the same error. am i doing something wrong.

Make sure you plug in your Power supply.... your solder points look big though

yes system stays off, check and make sure no wires are touching

Personally, I'd fix the wiring. Could be a cold solder joint (bigger is not always better, haha). Did you use flux at all?
Maybe try using the command line to dump?

Edit: Maybe a stupid question, but does the box still boot to dash?

when i get the error i know its #1 wiring or possibly a frayed wire is bridging with another, definitly check to see if your drivers are installed, and see if your hardware is running correctly. check the console make sure its getting clean power... if all fails remove the wiring run over your points with some desolder braid...

your nand flash also can be the issue, i have had a few phat consoles that needed the jumper technique done to them as to were you lay 2 strands of wire across your TSOP chips pins on both sides, while holding them down with your finger you simply plug your power supply into the console this forces your nand into recovery mode therefore you may read/write again.. but thats the very last step and it is not the safest of others
