I have a 1.6B Xbox with a X3 chip installed. Flashed the wrong bios on the chip now the box just fraggs. Remove chip box is fine. If I borrow a friends box, a version 1.0, with the tsop already flashed, and install my chip and then flash it with the correct bios for my box, and then reinstall in mine, will this work?
Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So this will work even though his tsop is flashed with a bios other than origianl, and no mod chip installed? Thanks again for the reply.

And no modchip? Definately no. There's no where to plug it in.
You need to know someone with an X3 as well to flash with the right bios or do a hotswap.

if your going to do that use a solderless xapter install in v1.0 xbox boot backup bank power eject at sametime to get flashbios 3.0.1 that works with v1.0 xbox flash chip with flashbios 3.0.3 to all banks(you will know if flash has work but with x3 3294 v16 plus the v1.0 xbox will frag) then reinstall to your xbox boot flashbios 3.0.3 then change switch to on on off off off flash x3 3294 v16 plus to it then go into x3config and flash flashbios 3.0.3 to backup bank you will have to ftp a folder called "bios" with flashbios 3.0.3 put x3 3294 v16 plus as well may need it later ftp it to the C:/ folder of xbox do flash backup from hard drive you will now have a working backup
