JASPER Could use some help with CR4XL, JR programmer V2 and Phat QSBv3 kit

Hi Guys,

I've been doin' a lot of research and therefore used the following install guide for the R-JTAG method: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/show...phyr-Opus-Falcon-Jasper-Install-Guide-(R-JTAG-)

I've ordered the CR4XL, JR-Programmer v2 and the Phat QSB v3 kit but it only consists of 2 components (http://www.save-mii.com/product/19/39/3392/), the third one, which is mentioned in the guideline, is missing (the JTAG ALT v2 piece is missing).

Does anybody knows if this 3th piece is mandatory for the R-JTAG method? Or does anybody has an install guide for all these components without the missing piece?

if you are doing the R-JTAG on a phat console yes you do need the 3rd piece

It's not always needed but 90% of phats boot better with it.
You could also do a wire instal using diodes if you wanted.

Thanks a lot! Can someone advise me where I can still buy this piece (if it's not against the rules)? Because I can't find it in most webshops who are selling these other TE parts.

yes you can use the v1

modchip central has the Alt_JTAG QSB, v3 but its pretty expensive for only that piece,
