Couple of questions

1. I got one of the x2 programmers, flashed a bios onto the 2nd bank, but want to upgrade it, would i have to grab the programmer again or could I use flashbios 3.03 that I have on the first bank to flash onto the 2nd bank?

2. Also, the dvd drive that I have is starting to make god aweful noises, was wondering if I had to buy an actual xbox dvd drive or if I could just use any dvd drive and make it compatible?

if you have flashbios on bank 1 then when you flash the chip it will be wiped use the programer but you updated x2 5035 bios on bank1 and flashbios on bank 2 this way you will beable to update without programer the next time

Ok, thanx, and with the dvd drive, can I use any dvd drive or does it have to be one of the 3 xbox drives?
