I recently purchased the XCM 360 High Speed Air Cooler with the add-on fan. It monitors the CPU and GPU temperatures and automatically adjusts the fans' RPMs. I have been running the fans at the maximum RPM in the manual mode.

After about 2 hours of game play, the GPU reached a temperature of 50 C and the CPU reached at temperature of 36 C.

At which temperatures, should I be concerned that the console may overheat?

Re: CPU & GPU Temperature and XCM 360 High Speed Air Coo

I wouldn't be worried until your

GPU : 60+ C
CPU : 50+ C

That's what they should be at stock anyway... :) Your well under

But I wouldn't recommend keeping your XCM on full, you'll burn out the motor's within a couple of months easy...

Stick it on automatic, and set the parameter's on

GPU : 50 C
CPU : 40 C

Good thumb of rule, keep it 10 C under stock... (Top figures)

That's roughly what you want to aim for, that's a pretty cool temperature, and it dosen't excessively run the fan's too much

Cooler is better yes, but too fast is bad for the motor's
