Hi Guys,

I have a bit of a problem. I received my Cr rev c and dag out my problematic jasper sb. Got it installed, and it was flashing green as is should. After few chnages to cpu_rst wire i think the point got damaged by coax cable because CR is no longer flashing. The only thing I have chnaged was the cpu_rst cable. I have a lot of ptoblems with this jasper and cpu wire was soldered in around 100 times so at some point something got damaged. there is no visal dmage on the outside but not sure if there is anything in the layers of the board.
Tried to resolder it few times. but cr would not flash.

so question is there alt point for cpu_rst on phat?

or any way to fix the orginal point?

cheers,

I know its hard to rip it off but after so may times and all sort of cables it just gave up. R8C2 resistor, can just run thin wire from it and feed it thgough the hole on org point?

Just done it. Many Thanks.

Omg, you said there is no visible damage from the outside, what do you see? there is obviously a damaged pad, and you broke the trace right next to it!

This jasper is special case, in the last 2 months it went through such abuse that im not surprised that it got damaged. Also its not burned, its flux looking like that on the photo, i must have break the trace when I was testing very thick and stif coax cable

Hmm I set mine at about 360-380, really depends on how long u leave iron on point. No more than a FEW seconds I say.
