Hey guys, was hoping to get some quick advice. I have a trinity xbox slim board with coolrunner installed. I have the green light blinking on the CR but not booting to xell. Should I rewrite the timing file to the CR, or should I be looking for a physical issue like soldering. Thanks in advance!

post pics of the install top and bottom side of mother board

my guess is the way your CPU_RST wire is routed but with out seeing anything it could be anything

Hmm.. same behavior. Green light blinking still no boot to xell. Loosened up the coil a bit and tucked under the x clamp.

how quick is you green light blinking if its blinking super fast then its probably soldering ive had that problem before but if its not make sure you use multibuilder or the new j-runner to make your ecc image file.

Wrote nand with J-Runner (awesome program). Same behavior. Tried booting with both eject and power button. This is not my video, but the same symptoms:

Thanks for your continued support!

I also verified it boots on factory Nand

@Freake, that is super ironic. I'm confident the issue can be resolved, I'm just looking for direction here instead of working in circles like I was doing. The guys on here are extremely helpful.

If you have a REV B cooler runner you could try bridging the CAP point on it, my jasper only yesterday was refusing to boot even into xell, after bridging that point it came straight on...

He hasn't got a fat so the cap won't help. Get the blue wire clear of the board completely and try. Doesn't matter whether you press eject or power the ecc only boots to xell so it makes no difference which you press. Check over your soldering again and you can try flipping the swwitch on the coolrunner from slim to phat as some say it can make a difference.

Failing that come back.

Looking at your pics again the POST_OUT1 point on the underside of the board look very damaged that may need to be repaired before it will boot.

I dont know enough about damaged points so someone with better knowledge will have to answer that.
