ANSWERED CR/ Nandx problems.

Well im not a noob at this stuff,

But when i am trying to flash the cool runner using jtag tool and nandx. It gives and error saying

"Usb interface not found"
"Couldnt Open file"
Error:Can not continue!

Nothing is soldered to the being i am trying to program it. Drivers are installed. Lights are on.
CR is in program mode and set to phat. I dont know whats wrong.

Is your cr wired in? power and ground good?
Are your nand-x drivers installed correctly? Does ot show in devices manager?

Well i dont have the green point on yet. Should i solder it? Yes it comes up in device manager. Also everything is good on the cool runner too. Brand new nandx as well.

if i read your first post correct you are then trying to flash the cr board, curse as far i know jtag tool can't do that

YeaH jtag tool can. But I use cmd prompt for everything now. Once I started doing it that way, by suggestions of much smarter people than me, I found it to be much simpler. Not as pretty, but more direct.

I could be mistaken, but I'm certain I read that the prog switch should to in nor. Prog is for something else.

do you know how to install the drivers if not go look it up and the cr does not need to be solder on to prog. i programed it with out soldering it and it work and last but not least befor u post something about the cr not glitching flash it with the rite files for the cb version

its gotta be a driver issure

no it doesn't because i prog it with out soldering cause the nand x supply's power and ground:smile:

you have to program the coolrunner first before installing it to the xbox - have you done that yet ?

try this plug nand x to pc
then go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers or you could use computer management

if you see a devices named memoryaccess that means nand x drivers were not installed if that true go here http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54372
if it said nand x and there is a check not a X its not a driver issure

What im getting at is that i need to program the cool runner. The cool runner is resting on the av port using the sticky tape that came with it. I plug the coolrunner to nandx then nandx to my computer. It comes up as xecuter nandx in device manager. The lights are lighting up on the cool runner and nandx. When i use jtag tool to program the chip with the motherboard im trying to glitch(Jasper 16mb) it gives me that error.
