GENERAL Cr3-pro and DGX, Will the nandx be useless after the release of jr v2?

Is JR v2 mandatory for Cr3-pro, DGX and nandx, question...

Since its mandatory to get the CR3-PRO and DGX, will the nandx be still be useful or the J-R v2 is needed for the upcoming RGH3 and rater feature....

Anything else you need to get the CR3-pro and dgx working or are they standalone products?

Preparing for the CR3-pro release...

1. Since the Cr3 Pro + DGX only needed to extract the CPU KEY for 1.5xxxx , can I just use the TX Coolrunner after I get the nand/cpukey?

2. Is the J-R v2 needed for all RGH v3 and upcoming extraction for 1.5xxxx ? or the current nand-x be sufficient?

there will always be a special place in my heart for my release-day NAND-X, but the development for it is pretty much dead

it's sad, but true

V3 code has left a sour taste in my mouth with regards to the nandx. My dev/original v2 nandx lasted me 3 years, had 4 * v3 so far this year.

The lpc2148 just doesn't seem to like it as Max's 2148 based nand reader has suffered the same fate.

I'll be JRP v2s biggest fan.

As stated in Xecuter's post it is no longer a necessity to have a CR3 Pro, any Coolrunner can be used with DGX

1. We have fine tuned the DGX add-on so that it can now be used with any RGH device, not just the CR3 Pro. We are also working on phat (we have recovered cpu_key from jasper and falcon 16197). Yes it also works on the new corona v3/v4 without soldering to the CPU pin .
